Transportation Planning
Planmakers is noted for transportation plans that work.
Their knowledge of historic resources, citizen participation, land-use
planning, bicycle and pedestrian systems, innovative design, and signing
makes them a valuable team member. Planmakers developed a transportation
plan for Boise's North End Neighborhood, bicycle and
pedestrian network plans,
and proposed gateway
improvements. A recent project is the development of
Boise's State Street corridor in which they combined land use planning with
improved traffic circulation. Other transportation projects include
preparing corridor management plans for Idaho's scenic byways and
overseeing highway guide signs, historic markers, and auto tour route sign
projects for the
Idaho Transportation Department.
