Planmakers specializes in conducting corridor studies. Since 2000, Planmakers has prepared corridor management plans (CMP) for eight scenic or historic byways in Idaho. Planmakers strives to understand the unique character of the byway and create places with strong local identity. Collaborating with stakeholders and
communities along the byway, Planmakers worked to create innovative and
achievable plans. Corridor planning of scenic and historic byways has assisted
small communities in identifying and enhancing their intrinsic qualities.
Typically, byway improvements include road improvements, site improvements,
